Thank you, readers, for visiting my website. I hope you learned some valuable information on the endeavours of Mission teenagers during World War Two and how the war affected the lives of teenagers worldwide, not just the ones living near the battlegrounds. The common theme is that the students understood how important it was to gather and rally together to support the country’s efforts to win the war. Whether selling War Savings stamps or preparing their skills for future jobs, they understood that they needed to step up and help the community in a time of great need. I want to thank Val Billesberger, the Archivist and Records Manager at the Mission Community Archives, for her endless support and guidance during my website development. I would also like to dedicate the website to the Mission teenagers who fought for our country during World War Two. I would also like to dedicate this website to all the teenagers during this time who helped fundraise or who bought War Saving Stamps to support this community’s war effort.
